Candis has been a fantastic addition to the Covenant team since 2019, bringing extensive experience working with children of all ages. She is an endorsed member of the New Mexico Infant Mental Health Association, which has given her a deep understanding of supporting young children’s emotional and mental health. Using this knowledge, she works with her students to teach them techniques for self-regulation. Candis uses her creativity and relatable personality to create an inclusive and intentional space for the children in her care. She draws on her expertise to develop a successful classroom environment that helps her students grow and thrive. Candis holds an Associate’s degree in Accounting and is pursuing her Early Childhood Education degree at CNM. Her passion for learning overflows into her lesson plans and creative projects for her students, ensuring they receive the best possible education.
