Dear Parents,
As you are all well aware of we just completed the accreditation process with the International Christian Accreditation Association. Over the last few days an external review team comprised of professional peers with diverse experience assessed and evaluated Covenant Schools’ effectiveness in meeting the requirements of accreditation.
The external exit report was a summary of the full report that is sent to the ICAA office for review and will be sent to us within the next 30 days. The external review team is recommending that the ICAA Commission for Accreditation grant us accreditation status which will finalized in June.
A few of the highlights of the summary include:
Classroom observations unfailingly revealed to team members that the students are receiving an exceptional education in a safe and nurturing environment where the Christian faith is uncompromised.
Parent interviews support the fact that the children are cognitively, socially, and spiritually stimulated and are developing to the parent’s delight.
The students know that they are loved and feel nurtured as witnessed during their interviews and through their actions. The administrative staff displayed pride in their staff and the students as well as an appreciation for the parents. All of this creates the feeling of family and community that each one experiences.
It was overwhelmingly apparent the governing body used research-based data and best practices to collect, review, and implement a growth plan of action for each individual child. During the parent interview the continual theme emerged that their older children that graduated from Covenant School were academically stronger than their peers. Terra Nova results confirmed students consistently scored one grade level above the national ranking.
Thank you to the outstanding staff of Covenant Schools that makes this all possible. And thank you for allowing us to serve you and your children every day.
Blessings,
Paul Losey
